The Seahawks have three players averaging 11.6 points or better, led by senior guard Jaylen Sims. Sims averages a team-high 14.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and one steal per game. He has reached double figures in 17 games this season, including 12 of the last 13. He was held to nine points on Saturday at William & Mary. The game prior, he paced the Seahawks with 18 points on 6 of 12 shooting at Elon. In the last meeting against Hofstra, he dished out a career-high six assists while scoring 12 points in the win.

Also powering UNC Wilmington is senior guard Mike Okauru, who poured in a career-tying-high 30 points on Saturday. He connected on 11 of 15 shots from the field. He is a transfer from Florida, where he played 69 games for the Gators. For the season, Okauru is averaging 12.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
