Titans vs. Jaguars odds, line, how to watch, live stream: 2021 NFL picks, Week 14 prediction from proven model

Written by on December 13, 2021

When the Tennessee Titans played the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this season, Derrick Henry carried the ball 29 times for 130 yards and three touchdowns. His 1,143 yards against Jacksonville are the most against any single opponent, but he won’t be on the field when the two teams meet again on Sunday. Jaguars rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence has begun throwing his weight around with the coaching staff as the team searches for answers on offense. In select markets, you can catch the next chapter in the division rivalry when you stream the game on Paramount+.

Week 14 NFL picks for Titans vs. Jaguars

Before you tune in to Sunday’s Jaguars vs. Titans game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine’s advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,200 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 14 of the 2021 season on an incredible 132-94 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Titans vs. Jaguars, the model predicts Tennessee will cover as 8.5-point favorites at home. Tennessee has won eight of the last nine meetings between the two teams, and four of the last five wins were by double-digits. After six consecutive wins, the Titans lost their last two before their bye in Week 13. After a week off, the Titans should be eager to get back to their winning ways against an opponent they have dominated in recent years.

After two wins in a three-game span from Weeks 6 through 9, the Jaguars have looked increasingly dysfunctional over the last four weeks. Last week against the Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville produced just 197 yards of offense, and much of the talk afterwards revolved around a high-profile benching of running back James Robinson following an early lost fumble. Lawrence commented to the media afterwards that he informed the coaching staff he was displeased with the decision to take Robinson off the field.

The SportsLine model predicts Robinson won’t be much of a factor this week, and he’ll finish with just 47 rushing yards. Meanwhile, the Titans running back tandem of D’Onta Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard will combine for 97 yards on the ground and Tennessee will cover by two scores in well over 50 percent of simulations.
