Taysom Hill suffered a Lisfranc injury to his left foot during the first half of the Saints‘ Week 18 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Trevor Siemian replaced has replaced Hill, whose 18-yard touchdown pass to Adam Trautman have the Saints an early 7-0 lead.

Siemian threw two more touchdown passes as the Saints took a 24-6 lead over the Falcons. The Saints need a win and a 49ers loss to the Rams in order to make the playoffs. New Orleans has received a solid performance by Alvin Kamara, who had over 100 rushing yards through three quarters.

The Saints were 5-2 this season with Jameis Winston as their starting quarterback. They’re 0-4 with Siemian, 3-1 with Hill and 0-1 with Ian Book as their starting quarterback. Hill entered Sunday’s game with 871 yards with three touchdowns against five interceptions. He was second on the team with 365 rushing yards and first with five rushing touchdowns.

Siemian is in line to be the Saints’ starting quarterback in the event that they make the playoffs and Hill is unable to play. The Broncos‘ seventh-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, Siemian is 13-16 as a starting quarterback. Siemian went 8-6 as the Broncos’ starting quarterback in 2016. He has never appeared in a regular-season game.
