Kick-off for Inter Milan vs. Real Madrid is set for 3 p.m. ET from Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain. UEFA Champions League picks for Real Madrid vs. Inter Milan
Before you tune in to Tuesday’s match, you need to see the Inter Milan vs. Real Madrid picks from European soccer insider Martin Green. After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated over $36,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.
For Inter Milan vs. Real Madrid, Green is backing Inter +0.5 at -125 odds. The Italian side was just minutes away from that happening when these teams met in September. The game appeared headed to a scoreless draw until Real Madrid’s Rodrygo found the back of the net in the 89th minute. Since that result, Inter has either won or drawn in 16 of its 17 matches in all competitions.
With Real Madrid having a two-point advantage over Inter in Group D, the Spanish club can comfortably play for a tie and still win the group. Off a Sunday La Liga win in which star striker Karim Benzema was injured, Real Madrid may opt to play its reserves. Benzema will not play on Tuesday, robbing Real Madrid of its captain and of the top scorer in La Liga.
Meanwhile, Inter’s top goal scorer in Lautaro Martinez will suit up and is in his best form of the season. He’s scored in three of his last four games and currently ranks fifth in Serie A in goals. Green recognizes the differing motivations for both teams and has an energized Inter Milan squad coming away with points on Tuesday.
“[Inter Milan] is playing with a lot more confidence now and should be able to score against Real Madrid,” Green told SportsLine. “Star striker Lautaro Martínez was rested for that win against Roma, and he will be raring to go for this game.”
