The NFL’s Super Wild Card Weekend kicks off when the Cincinnati Bengals and Las Vegas Raiders collide on Saturday. The Bengals (10-7) won the AFC North and finished as the No. 4 seed in the AFC playoff bracket. They are coming off a 21-16 loss to Cleveland in which the coaching staff sat several starters to rest for the NFL playoffs 2022. The Raiders (10-7) squeaked into the postseason with a dramatic 35-32 overtime win over the Chargers on Sunday Night Football.

Kickoff is 4:30 p.m. ET. Cincinnati is a 6.5-point favorite in the latest Raiders vs. Bengals odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under for total points scored is 49.5. Before you make any Bengals vs. Raiders picks or NFL playoff predictions, see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up more than $7,400 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters the 2021 NFL playoffs on an incredible 136-97 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, the model has zeroed in on Raiders vs. Bengals and locked in another confident against-the-spread pick. You can see it only at SportsLine. Now, here are several NFL betting lines for Raiders vs. Bengals:

  • Raiders vs. Bengals spread: Cincinnati -6.5
  • Raiders vs. Bengals Over-Under: 49.5 points
  • Raiders vs. Bengals money line: Cincinnati -280, Las Vegas +230
  • CIN: WR Ja’Marr Chase had the second most receiving yards (1,455) by a rookie in a season
  • LV: QB Derek Carr ranked fifth in the NFL in passing yards (4,804)

Why the Bengals can cover

Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow is on a roll. In his last game, in Week 17, he threw for 446 yards and four touchdowns, which followed a game with 525 yards and four touchdowns. The 971 passing yards are the second most in a two-game span in NFL history, behind only Dak Prescott, who had 974 yards in a two-game span last season.

In addition, the Bengals enter the game knowing they’ve already blown out the Raiders this season. On Nov. 21 in Las Vegas, running back Joe Mixon rushed for 123 yards and scored two touchdowns, and Cincinnati’s defense limited Las Vegas to just 278 yards in a 32-13 win. Only twice this season have the Raiders had fewer points and yards.

Why the Raiders can cover

Las Vegas has gotten hot at the right time. The Raiders have won four straight games in a season for the first time since 2016, when they won six consecutive games. During the winning streak, they’ve beaten teams that were in playoff contention at the time (Browns, Broncos, Colts and Chargers) and won twice on the road (Cleveland and Indianapolis).

One of the reasons for the team’s success has been a more dedicated running game. Over the last four games, Las Vegas has averaged 31.5 carries and 129.3 rushing yards per contest. In the 13 previous games, the Raiders averaged 22.2 carries and 84.6 rushing yards.
