Storylines
Leicester: Jonny Evans and Harvey Barnes are still out, with Evans set to miss three more weeks with a hamstring injury. Barnes is scheduled to return to training later in the week and could be available for their next game. Regardless if they have Evans or not, the defense has to be more united at the back. Leicester have conceded nine goals in their last two games including three to Liverpool on Dec. 22. Now facing a stronger Liverpool team, they could be in for a long night unless they play cleaner and limit mistakes.

Liverpool: The Reds are boosted big time after their COVID outbreak with superstar defender Virgil van Dijk back in the squad. Fabinho, Thiago and Curtis Jones are also back and boost the midfield in time for their visit to Leicester. All of them returned to training earlier in the week and are expected to see the pitch, assuming Jurgen Klopp finds them fit enough.
Prediction
The Reds destroy the helpless Leicester’s backline to keep the pressure on Manchester City. Pick: Liverpool 3, Leicester 1
