Former New York Giants linebacker Carl Banks has clearly had enough when it comes to the franchise’s struggles throughout the 2021 season. Banks, a two-time Super Bowl champion and member of the Giants Ring of Honor who now serves as a radio analyst for the team, joined the Bleav In Giants Podcast and released some heavy frustrations regarding the team.

“My wish, and I’m not telling the fans, I’m telling the player, coaches, figure it the f— out,” Bank said. “When there are plays to be made, make the f—ing play. Be intentional about your assignment. Value every possession like you won’t get another one because you don’t when you don’t execute. Just know the assignment.”

Most recently, the Giants fell to 4-8 on the season after a 20-9 loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins. Without Daniel Jones in the lineup, the Giants were forced to start veteran Mike Glennon at the quarterback position and only ended up accumulating 250 yards of toal offense against the Dolphins.

Banks was extremely critical of the Giants’ effort and called it “one of my lowest moments as a former Giant, as a fan, as a broadcaster. Operationally, [Joe Judge has] got a lot to fix. These delay of game calls, the planning of how to operate in certain situations, it just seems that they miss it every week.”

The former All-Pro linebacker had plenty of blame to go around and said that the “entire operation is broken.”

As a team, the Giants have only scored 32 points over their last three games, which featured losses to the Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even in the team’s Week 12 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants only scored 13 points in a 13-7 victory.
