Carolina lost to the Buffalo Bills last Sunday, 31-14 on the road. Cam Newton was sacked four times and threw an interception. He was 13 of 39 for 156 yards and an interception and rushed for 71 yards and a TD. Newton will start this week, but Sam Darnold may also see some playing time in his return from a shoulder injury. 

Newton has lost 12 straight starts with the Panthers, dating back to Nov. 2018. D.J. Moore (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday’s game. The Panthers have won 24 of 41 all-time meetings with Buccaneers.

Mike Evans (hamstring) and Antoine Winfield (foot) are out. Leonard Fournette (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (knee) were placed on injured reserve this week. Antonio Brown is set to return from a three-game suspension.
