Paras Griffin/Getty Images for RevoltJoe Budden is the subject of social media controversy after recent allegations of domestic abuse and his leave from Spotify.

Just last week, his ex-girlfriend and Love & Hip Hop star Tahiry Jose alleged the former rapper and podcast host physically abused her during what Joe called a “toxic” relationship.

“I’m very comfortable saying, you were abusive,” Joe responded on The Joe Budden podcast. “You used to beat [me]! You threw [stuff], you hit me, you kicked me, you did a whole bunch of [stuff].”

Now, in a recently leaked phone conversation, obtained by The Shade Room, Budden’s former fiancee, Cyn Santana, accuses him of chasing and dragging her during a meet-up session. She also claimed he kicked her and their two-year-old son Lexington out of his house.

Joe has yet to formally respond to these allegations, though Cyn decided to address the leaked call in a nearly 10-minute video on Instagram. “I don’t play about my family, and I most definitely don’t play about my son. Mind y’all business. Love ?????,” she captioned.

“So, it’s not secret that Joseph and I broke up over a year and a half ago. It’s no secret. We’re in the public eye, we’re in the limelight, we’re public figures…” Cyn said in the video. “My family is a real family with real blood in their veins. With a heart.  We’re still human beings. We have the right to privacy.”

Twitter fans had a lot to say about the accusations, including one fan who wrote, “Bro Idk who you pissed off, but the smear campaign is crazy.”

Budden responded in a cryptic tweet, writing, “You can’t kill nothing that’s ready to die.”
