About Company – Davangere Sugar
Incorporated in 1970, Davangere Sugar Company Limited (DSCL) is a manufacturer of sugar and sugar products. The company is located in Kukkuvada village, 15kms away from Davangere city, Karnataka state. They have a present capacity of the sugar plant is 5,000 TCD. The capacity of the sugar plant expanded from 3500 TCD to 5000 TCD in the year 2012. The total sugar unit buildings covers an area of about 2,83,874 Sq.fts. Three big go-down facilities are in existence for storage of sugar with a capacity to store 1,00,000 Qtls to 1,50,000 Qtls. Further two go-downs with a capacity to store 100,000 Qtls and 1,75,000 Qtls of sugar are under construction expected to be completed by June, 2014.
