After giving birth to her second son earlier this year, now Kelly Rowland is publishing her second children’s book, co-written with educator Jessica McKay.
Always with You, Always with Me, described as “a loving ode to modern motherhood,” will focus on the relationship between a working mother and her young son.
“Jessica and I are thrilled to announce our children’s picture book which celebrates modern motherhood and all the incredible work that caregivers do,” the “Motivation” singer said in a statement.
Rowland previously co-authored Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (and Wonder What the #*$& Just Happened) in 2017. She has two sons, Titan, 7, and Noah, nine months old, with her husband, Tim Weatherspoon.
Always with You, Always with Me will be published April 26, 2022, by Viking Books for Young Readers.
In other news, the four-time Grammy winner will begin her holiday celebration next week in New York City when she performs during Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She is also reprising her role as Jacquie Liddle in Lifetime’s Merry Liddle Christmas Baby, premiering Saturday, November 27. Rowland previously starred in Merry Liddle Christmas in 2019, and Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding in 2020.
Next year, the 40-year-old singer/actress will join Ludacris, Nelly, TLC, 50 Cent and more performing at the first Golden Sand weekend, taking place January 12-16 at the Barcelo Riviera Maya resort in Mexico.
