Rams vs. Bengals odds, line, spread: 2022 Super Bowl picks, predictions, bets from model on 137-97 roll

The Los Angeles Rams‘ last trip to the Super Bowl ended in disappointment, as they failed to score a touchdown in a 13-3 loss to New England that concluded the 2018 season. Los Angeles hasn’t had that issue this season, scoring at least two TDs in all but two of its 20 games and four or more on six occasions. The Rams (15-5) will hope to keep their offense rolling when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals (13-7) in the 2022 Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 13. Los Angeles has found the end zone nine times in the 2022 NFL playoffs thus far, including twice in its 20-17 victory over San Francisco in the NFC Championship Game.
Kickoff from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles is set for 6:30 p.m. ET. Los Angeles is a 4.5-point favorite in the latest Rams vs. Bengals odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 48.5. Before locking in any Bengals vs. Rams picks, make sure you see the latest Super Bowl predictions from SportsLine’s proven projection model.

Why the Rams can cover
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford threw 41 touchdown passes during the regular season, finishing two behind Tom Brady for the league lead while matching the career-high he set in 2011 with Detroit. The 33-year-old has accounted for all eight of Los Angeles’ offensive TDs this postseason, throwing six scoring passes while running for a pair of touchdowns. Four of Stafford’s TD tosses went to Cooper Kupp, who has hauled in at least one in five consecutive games and eight of his last nine.
Kupp, who led the NFL in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947) and touchdown catches (16) during the regular season, isn’t the only weapon in Stafford’s arsenal. Odell Beckham Jr. posted his first 100-yard performance of the season (113) in the win over San Francisco and has six TD catches in 11 games since signing with the Rams in November. Second-year wideout Van Jefferson is a scoring threat who hauled in six touchdown passes during the regular season, while rookie Kendall Blanton had five receptions for 57 yards after starting tight end Tyler Higbee went down with a knee injury in the conference title game.
Why the Bengals can cover
Cincinnati proved in the AFC Championship Game that it never should be counted out when it fell behind 21-3 at Kansas City. The Bengals dusted themselves off the mat, scoring 21 unanswered points to take the lead before winning 27-24 in overtime. Joe Burrow displayed the poise of a seasoned veteran instead of a quarterback in his second NFL season, throwing a pair of touchdown passes during the comeback that helped earn Cincinnati its first Super Bowl appearance since the 1988 season.
The 25-year-old Burrow was 23-of-38 for 250 yards against the Chiefs as the Bengals improved to 2-0 away from home this postseason after losing the first seven playoff road games in franchise history. Wide receiver Tee Higgins, who was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft after Burrow was taken with the first overall pick, has had back-to-back productive performances after failing to make an impact in his postseason debut. The 23-year-old had just one catch for four yards against Las Vegas in the wild-card round before hauling in 13 passes for 199 yards over his last two outings.
