The 2022 AFC Championship Game will pit the Kansas City Chiefs against the Cincinnati Bengals. It’s an intriguing clash between a franchise at the pinnacle of the NFL and an upstart with dynamic young talent. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs outdueled the Bills last week, while Joe Burrow survived an onslaught from the Titans. Both teams are coming off emotional walk-off victories last week and will have to gather themselves with a spot in the 2022 Super Bowl on the line. You can see what happens in the 2022 NFL playoffs when you stream the game on Paramount+.

NFL picks for Chiefs vs. Bengals in the AFC Championship Game
Before turning into Sunday’s Bengals vs. Chiefs game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine’s advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up over $7,500 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters championship weekend of the 2021 NFL playoffs on an incredible 137-97 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. Amazingly, it hasn’t missed a top-rated pick since Week 14 of the regular season.
The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.
For Bengals vs. Chiefs, the model’s top pick is under 54.5 total points. The two teams combined to score 65 points on Jan. 2 in Cincinnati, but the Bengals have blossomed on defense during the 2022 NFL playoffs.
Cincinnati ranked 17th in points allowed and 18th in yards allowed during the regular season, but has limited the Raiders and Titans to under 20 points in the NFL playoff bracket. The Bengals have forced five turnovers during those two contests and could be in position to make the Chiefs one-dimensional after limiting Derrick Henry to 62 yards in the divisional round.
Burrow was sacked nine times by the Titans last week and Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones figures to be a major problem for a Cincinnati offensive line that allowed Jeffery Simmons to get to the quarterback three times last week. The model predicts three sacks for the Chiefs and multiple Cincinnati turnovers to help the under hit in nearly 60 percent of simulations.
