Despite sitting third in the Italian Serie A table, Napoli has had trouble stringing together victories. It enters Monday’s matchup against Bologna having not won back-to-back league games since late October. Bologna’s recent struggles are even more pronounced, as it has lost four of its last five games. Bologna has dropped to 12th in Serie A and is coming off a devastating loss to 18th-place Cagliari. You can catch all the action live on Paramount+.
Kickoff from Renato Dall’Ara in Bologna, Italy, is set for 12:30 p.m. ET. Napoli is listed as the -103 favorite (risk $103 to win $100) on the 90-minute money line in the latest odds from Caesars Sportsbook, with Bologna is the +290 underdog. A draw is priced at +245 and the over-under for total goals scored is 2.5. Monday’s match will be streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Italian Serie A picks for Bologna vs. Napoli
Before tuning into Monday’s match, you need to see the Napoli vs. Bologna picks from European soccer insider Martin Green. After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated over $37,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.
For Bologna vs. Napoli, Green is backing both teams to score at -130 odds. While Napoli has dominated recent head-to-head matchups, Bologna has still managed to get on the scoreboard. Six of the last eight games between the teams have seen both teams score. The location of Monday’s game also plays a factor in Green’s pick since Bologna is much more proficient at home, averaging nearly half-a-goal more per game than on the road.
These two sides played each other twice in 2021 and Napoli scored three goals in each game. The club finding the back of the net at least once on Monday is almost a given, so the only question is if Bologna will score. However, Green points out that Napoli will be missing the nucleus of its elite defensive unit with three key players out. Goalkeeper David Ospina is injured, while the team’s best defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, along with defensive midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa are both absent since they are partaking in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Napoli’s last game showed a glimpse of life without those three, as Koulibaly and Zambo Anguissa did not play, while Ospina was subbed at halftime. Napoli allowed one goal in the first half of its Coppa Italia game, but then gave up four in the second half with Ospina on the sideline. With the club having to go a full 90 minutes without those three, Bologna is a good bet to find the back of the net, joining Napoli on the scoreboard.
