In Week 7 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ season, Bucs quarterback Tom Brady took part in an interaction with a fan that touched hearts across the National Football League. Near the front of the stands at Raymond James Stadium was ten-year old Noah Reeb, who held up a sign saying that Brady inspired him to beat brain cancer during Tampa Bay’s 38-3 win over the Chicago Bears.

Brady met up with Reeb post-game, giving him his hat and offering him some words of encouragement — a meeting with his hero that emotionally overwhelmed Reeb. Now, Brady is continuing to pay it forward for just one of many of his young fans. This week, Brady surprised Reeb and his family with tickets to Super Bowl LVI.

Brady’s surprise continues a relationship he has fostered with Reeb and his family, as he had originally reached out to Reeb during his cancer battle when community outreach efforts were able to catch the seven-time Super Bowl Champion’s attention. Reeb was diagnosed with germinoma last February, but was declared cancer-free by August.

The ideal scenario for Reeb and his family would be to see Brady compete in the Super Bowl once again, as he attempts to win his eighth Lombardi Trophy and his second as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs’ road through the playoffs begins Sunday in Tampa, where they will host the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card round as champions of the NFC South.
